In The Crowd explores the lives of LGBT football fans and the challenges they must face on the pitch and in the terraces. Using mixed media footage, the film transports viewers into heart of the match day experience while fans and players reflect on the conflicted nature of sexuality in sport.

This film was developed over the course of 18 months, spanning 2016 to 2018, and was made possible by the generous support of the Proud Lilywhites, Pride of Irons, Kick It Out, Football vs Homophobia and countless other persons and organisations who shared their stories and supported the development of this film.
